Occasionally we find ourselves moving from
Application.cfc and during to our deployment process, sometimes we end up having a situation where we have both in a given directory at the same time. Not pretty but it can happen.
I was wondering then: which had precedence?
Well a quick test will tell you that
Application.cfc has precedence and if you have an
application.cfm file and a
Application.cfc file in the same directory then the old standard, i.e.
application.cfm is completely ignored until you get around to deleting it.
Good to know.
